It should be securely clamped together and give the right amount of force to keep the clamps together. There is no set rule of the time you should keep the clamp closed. It depends on the size of the machine. If you are using a larger engine, clamping will require more time. You could estimate the time from the dry cycle time of the engine.
The next step would be to inject the molt into the die casting machine. Molt always has a stable temperature in the furnace. Never forget to double-check the type of die casting machine you are using before transferring the molt. The detailing of the equipment depends on the type of device you are using. Generally, the pressure of the injection ranges from 1000 to 20000 psi. This pressure keeps the molt in the die during the process of solidification. Once its cooling time is complete, you may open the halves and take the casting out of the die cavity. Trimming is essential after removing it from the casting.
